I needed love. That pure authentic feeling of love that we all long for. It’s all around us, but we forget to see it when the mind is clouded and dark.
Because props are cool.
My earliest memory of yoga was my inability to lay still in corpse pose. I would find myself peeking with one eye open and hoping the class would just end already. I had gotten my workout and I didn’t understand why we needed to “relax”. But, I kept going back. Throughout the last decade, my yoga practice has shifted and evolved. Savasana and meditation are now my favorite.
So, as I took every blissful sip of this deliciously prepared Cerro de Jesus Nicaraguan coffee, I let the frustrations of the morning go and tell myself, this is exactly what needed to happen this morning.
