ody policing and shaming has NO space in my classes nor at the places I choose to work. As someone who has worked for many years on making sure I get to a place of physical, emotional and mental well-being, triggers of fat shaming especially do not serve me. To be able to accept the beauty that is me and the “enoughness” that is me requires that I stay grounded around people and communities who do the same. In a city that generally does otherwise, find a space that values you as you. So friends, as you step into your new year routine, remember that you are beautiful the way you are. You are enough the way you are. You are welcome to my classes the way you are. May this year be one of authenticity, joy and grounding for us all.
However, this past week, I came to the realization that I have stopped writing. I realized that negative thoughts have been coming up more during last 3 months, as doubt and uncertainty plague my mind. Important life decisions, choices, rejections and LIFE have numbed me from functioning at my best.

I am guilty for making absolute claims that “I do not live my life with regrets”. But in the long run, I really do not, because I try damn hard to not attach to those regrets. I have moments of regret, but trusting my intuition and taking risks, I know that good things will come.
Habits help us through our day. When we are doing something that is habitual, we are not engaged in the task in the same way as when we are doing something that is not habitual.
