The Portrait Series from Armenia

Last year, right before I went for my one month silent meditation, I had visited Armenia. During this time, I had decided to take portraits of people and show how they had affected my time in Armenia with a brief story and their portrait. Here is a link to the Mother and Daughter story. The rest can be found through scrolling down that story and moving through the portrait series.

With these interactions, I found the very thing I needed from my trip last year. I noticed the love and hospitality was a common denominator with most of my interactions. With these traits, also come compassion and kindness. Even though I can find many flaws in my fellow Armenians, these basic essences of humanity I have appreciated in the following people.

Now that I’m given the chance to showcase some of these photos on, I hope to show what I see from this country I love.
