Portrait Series: The Violinist

To give peace with ones music is a knowledge I do not possess. At times I’ve wished to have learnt. In fact, feelings of envy come up sometimes when I’m engulfed in the beautiful set of notes being orchestrated by man and his instrument.  However, we all have a way of transmitting knowledge; a musician does so beautifully with his or her instrument. I learnt to enjoy the music and accept that this was a passion that was not strong enough in me and to leave it to others to provide me with this joy who do have a stronger connection to music.

Letting go of the things I don’t possess, but want, is something I hope to work on. Sure, I can pick up a new musical instrument and practice, but is it really what I’m extremely passionate about?

Thanks violinist for proving the atmospher for deep reflection on my way at the Victory Park in Yerevan.
