Extraordinary Shoes In Ordinary Places

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “(Extra)ordinary.”

These ordinary Rockport walking shoes are my second pair. The first pair I found while living abroad in Barcelona. This pair (pictured) was purchased on Amazon a few months ago and there was only one pair left in a size 11. They were meant for my feet.

These shoes have taken me to extraordinary places and have received the notice and compliments of complete strangers, as well as, friends.

The story the soles carry, as well, are nothing short of extraordinary. Follow the story of where these shoes might lead me next on my blog and Instagram.

Today my friend commented on this pic on Instagram,  “great shoes”.

I replied, “they’re slowly in the process of abandoning me.”

He said, “let ’em carry you to the very furthest unraveling edge.”

I thought. . . I definitely will since I live for the extraordinary. Previous personal blog post asks the question, “Are You Ordinary?”

      1. ha ha!don’t worry… that’s a compliment for sure! If it was meant to be a critical observation, i would phrase that in a different way and add some suggestion too!! 🙂
