How To Stay Anchored During Rocky Times

My morning meditation was interesting today. The thoughts were a culmination of things I’ve been reflecting upon this week, more consciously than ever. I was left with these words to express:

Seeking stillness and anchoring oneself during the rockiest of times. . .

I didn’t expand on that phrase and invite you to fill in the ellipses.

So, this day can go either way. I did wake up a bit sick and very under the weather, but have meetings lined up all day. They can not be missed. So I decided to grab some power juices this morning. As I was waiting for my orange juice and ginger lemon shot, I stepped on a child. He cried. I felt horribly. We made up. I got oatmeal cookies. My conclusion is that it’ll go just fine.
I just have to remember:

Seeking stillness and anchoring oneself during the rockiest of times. . .

Detach yourself from the consequences and carry on (and fill in the blanks).
